Do i need an assessment before i can start Classes?
For Reformer Classes, Studio Classes, and Pilates GOLD classes - no, it’s not compulsory to come in for an assessment before your start.
For Clinical Classes, and Pre & Postnatal classes - yes, you first start with a Physio assessment.
However, if you have a current or recent injury or health concern, we highly recommend booking an assessment with our Physios first, whichever class you are interested in.
The Physio can assess you, and give you some great guidance about which classes would suit you best, as well as provide you with some pre-exercises to get you started before joining our classes.
Can I claim a rebate on my health insurance for classes?
Health insurance rebates may apply to Clinical classes, and Pre & Postnatal classes, as well as for all individual Physio appointments.
All other classes (Reformer, Studio, and Gold classes) are group fitness classes, taught by a Pilates Instructor, and are generally not eligible for a rebate.
What do I need to bring/wear?
Clothes that you feel comfortable in, and socks, please! During the Covid-19 pandemic, all clients are also required to wear gloves during Pilates classes. We have these available for purchase prior to your class.
