ABDOMINAL SCAR RELEASE

Abdominal scars, particularly C-section scars, can contribute to:

  • Pulling and/or painful sensations on or around your scar;

  • Low back and pelvic pain;

  • Difficulty taking deep breaths, or feeling short of breath;

  • Reduced ability to connect to your core;

  • Pelvic floor problems, like needing to go to the toilet a LOT;

  • Poor body image and dissatisfaction with how our tummy looks…

Abdominal scar release

takes a whole-body approach to improving your scar.

Beginning with an assessment of your breath, and your scar, Abdominal Scar Release then targets restriction through your abdominal wall, diaphragm and ribs.

This session involves a combination of massage techniques, Physiotherapy interventions, dry needling, and cupping, as well as providing you with a home program, to continue improving the appearance and function of your scar.
